 NOW ABOUT OUR BNS AND BNR SLOW DOWN

 - I HAVE NOTICED A SLOW DOWN (to the max) FOR THE BNS' AND THE BNRS.  WOW!!

 I THINK TOPHATTER IS PARTLY TO BLAME FOR THIS BUT SINCE I NOW HAVE AN ACCOUNT ON TOPHATTER I SHOULDN'T COMPLAIN TO MUCH.  SUMMER IS ALSO A FACTOR IN THE SLOW DOWN TO OUR SELLING TREASURIES ON ETSY.COM ...

ALSO POOR TEAM PARTICIPATION IS A FACTOR AND THIS IS A BIG FACTOR.  TAKE MY TEAM FOR EXAMPLE - PROGRESSIVE BNS TEAM - http://www.etsy.com/teams/11884/progressive-bns-team   

I HAD A LOT OF HOPE FOR THIS TEAM WHEN I STARTED IT UP.  WE HAVE OVER 75 MEMBERS BUT MAYBE 10 VISIT OUR WEEKLY BNS AND FAV THE BNS AND HEART THE FEATURED SHOPS. THESE 10 ARE USUALLLY ARE THE SAME ONES AND I DO THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING.   THE NAME OF OUR TEAM HAS THE LETTERS BNS IN THE TITLE.  OUR BNS IS EVERY TUESDAY SO IT COMES AS NO SURPRISE TO ANYONE.   WHEN THE MEMBERS JOINED THEY WERE TO GIVE ME THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS TO BE CONTACTED WITH THE BNS LINK.  I AM TRYING TO DO MY PART.  I PROMOTE THROUGH THREE DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS ON ETSY.  I SEND OUT CONVOS AND EMAILS AND EVEN A NEWSLETTER SOMETIMES.  BUT OUR BNS GETS VERY LITTLE RESPONSE.  I HAVE VISITED MANY OTHER BNRS AND BNS' AND NOTICE THE TIME STAMPS ON COMMENTS AND THERE IS SOMETIMES A LARGE SPAN OF TIME BETWEEN COMMENTS.  WE NEED PARTICIPATION - PLEASE.  POKE YOUR HEAD IN AND FAV US, SAY HI ONCE IN AWHILE.  JUST SHOW US SOME LOVE.  THAT WILL LET US KNOW YOU DO APPRECIATE THE TIME AND EFFORT PUT INTO TRYING TO PROMOTE SALES FOR A GROUP OF ETSY SHOPS.   

- MAYBE IN SEPTEMBER THINGS WILL PICK BACK UP AGAIN AND CURATING A BNS OR A BNR WILL BE LIVELY AND FUN AGAIN... I HOPE SO.

TOPHATTER AUCTION (do you want your auction posted on this blog? Just let me know)
Some of you already know about TOPHATTER.COM  ... tophatter is a live virtual auction website.  Lots of etsy shop owners and FB Yardsellers have taken advantage of this opportunity to get on tophatter and show their wares.  I think it is a relatively new site but it has taken off for sure.  Etsy teams are sponsoring auctions and doing well.  Tophatter has several facebook pages setup for specific types of auctions.
So if are going to check out tophatter to supplement your etsy income or if you are just into the auction action check out these auctions.  They will be starting soon enough and you can get in on the action by adding to attendance and adding your items to the auction block.
RSVP's are needed for each auction on tophatter.  The more RSVPs the larger the auction can become in the way of items to be auctioned.  So be sure to RSVP.

I have started some new jewelry

NFL TEAM COLORS - NECKLACES
So far I have
Pittsburgh Steelers (Black and Gold)
Ohio Sate Buckeyes (Red, White and Gray)
Michigan Wolverines (Blue and Yellow)
These are listed for $14.00 each.  they are made using faux pearls in most cases.  I also have the Team Name in acrylic letter beads and a football bead.  The OSU necklace does not have a football bead. 
I also have some that I am making with pony beads, they will be listed for $5.00 each.
I would love to make more but I don't know all of the team colors
